Dust/Opacity Monitors

Pentol offers 5 models of optical dust monitors coming from different manufacturers. Three of them base on the measurement of the transmissivity of visible light across a process duct or stack:

• Codel D-CEM2100 - for emission monitoring systems and process applications;
• Codel D-CEM1000/1001 - an “easy-to-use” model for process applications;
• Land 4500MkIII - for emission monitoring systems and process applications;

An in-situ scattered light dust monitor:

• Durag D-R800 (with QAL1 Certificate) - for emission monitoring systems and process applications where dust conc. is very low (small size chimneys and flue gas ducts);

An extractive scattered light dust monitor:

• Dr. Foedisch PFM 06 ED (with QAL1Certificate) – for emission monitoring systems and process applications. Used for the continuous extractive measurement of dust contents in wet and sticky exhaust gases (eg. behind the FGD absorber).
